At Red Apple Learning Centers, phonics comprise the backbone of many of our programs. Children learn each of the phonemes (our particular type of phonics) in fun and entertaining ways. Students watch their instructor’s mouth as she pronounces sounds. Then each student imitates these mouth shapes and pronunciations while looking into a mirror. This allows the student to compare and correct his/her understanding of each phoneme.

Red Apple Learning Centers’ curricula progresses to teaching blends and multi-syllables, gradually ramping up each child’s skills.
